Art Work

I believe every individual possesses an innate artistic sensibility rooted in aesthetic opinions and preferences. Moreover, I hold the conviction that figurative work, with its readable stability, serves as an accessible art form. The space between the observer and the subject is bridged by the viewers intuitive response to a face, a pair of hands, a gesture, expression, or posture.

The artworks I create are cohesive abstractions of the human form. Every choice—whether in form, line, color, or texture—challenges conventional perceptions, aiming to capture the complexity and individuality of each human subject.

I intentionally exclude the subject's physical surroundings to draw attention to the essence of the subject itself. By removing any external context, the artwork becomes a refined reflection of the individual. This decision allows for a deeper exploration of self-presentation—the harmony or disharmony between the internal self and its outward expression.

This approach challenges my own perception and understanding of what it means to represent the human form. It pushes me to reconsider how I construct and deconstruct the figure, questioning how much of the internal self can be revealed through external expression. This process forces me to confront my own biases and limitations, constantly reshaping how I approach both the physical and conceptual aspects of my work.
